The New York Giants have surged into the Top 15 of NFL power rankings ahead of Week 5, driven by a coaching-driven turnaround under John Harbaugh that has instilled swagger and improved locker-room culture despite injuries and a modest early schedule. While they’ve benefited from wins over weaker opponents, the team shows tangible progress in discipline and competitive edge, suggesting they are exceeding expectations and establishing momentum. Critics note the improved confidence and resilience, even as the win column masks ongoing questions about consistency and ceiling. The development signals a potential shift in the NFC East landscape, with the Giants positioned to capitalize on rising form if they sustain their effort. Looking ahead, the focus is on maintaining performance, tightening weaknesses, and validating early momentum in a tougher slate.
