Key Takeaways

• The Eagles have not performed up to their roster’s potential for at least 21 games, with offensive production slipping from 3rd in yards/points in 2022 to 25th in yards and 24th in scoring last season and this season. Repeated offensive schematic changes under Sirianni are criticized as ‘rearranging the deckchairs’ without addressing root issues.
• In the Rams game, Philadelphia went 0-for-12 on third down and 1-for-4 on fourth down, while Jalen Hurts completed only 12 passes for 93 yards, prompting questions about his reliance on mobility and the coaching approach to maximizing his strengths.
• Hurts’ diminishing rushing threat is cited as a factor limiting his effectiveness, with the offense historically built on a balance of arm and legs now leaning away from that dynamic, raising concerns about his development and team strategy.
